President Yasuhiko Okamoto
Since its founding in 1993, the LIKE Group has adopted the corporate philosophy of "... planning the Future: developing people and creating the future," developing three core businesses centered on "people": childcare, human resources, and nursing care. In Japan, numerous social issues are mounting, such as the diversification of childcare needs, a declining working population, the need for workers to leave their jobs due to elderly care, and the elderly caring for the elderly, and our Group's businesses are closely related to these challenges. By enhancing the quality of our services and expanding our business scale, we will contribute to solving social issues and, by extension, realizing a sustainable society, while circulating the precious value of gratitude—fostering a corporate culture where expressions of gratitude come naturally, and people genuinely feel, “I’m glad it was you. Thank you.”
To enhance service quality and expand our business scale, the active empowerment of diverse talent and the establishment of a trusted management foundation are indispensable. Regardless of gender, nationality, age, or background, we are cultivating an environment where diverse talent can thrive. By promoting the appropriate allocation of talent, we will maximize organizational value creation and sustainable growth. Furthermore, because the Group’s businesses form part of the social infrastructure and entail a high level of public interest and social responsibility, we will maintain and strengthen our governance framework, thereby establishing a management foundation trusted by all stakeholders.
Looking ahead, we aim to export our Group's services overseas to countries where the demand for childcare and nursing care is expected to grow, striving to become a borderless social infrastructure company.
We have always tackled social issues head-on and created new services that respond to the needs of the times and society. We hope you will continue to support us as we move forward with this mission.

Director in charge of sustainability Hirotaka Okamoto
Under our corporate philosophy of "... planning the Future: developing people and creating the future," the LIKE Group has long been committed to contributing to a sustainable society through the promotion of our childcare, human resources (staffing), and nursing care businesses. In Japan, numerous social issues are mounting, such as the diversification of childcare needs, a declining working population, the need for workers to leave their jobs due to elderly care, and the elderly caring for the elderly, and the businesses we operate are closely related to these challenges.
To help shape the future for the next generation, we will make full use of AI and digital technologies to update all of our businesses—childcare, staffing, and nursing care—while creating new businesses and services. Furthermore, we will focus on reducing our environmental footprint through our business activities and promoting environmental education. In addition to transitioning 100% of the electricity used in our business operations to renewable energy by 2050, we aim to nurture the talent who will support a sustainable society and help realize a circular economy.
Precisely because we provide services across all generations through childcare, human resources, and nursing care, we will connect our efforts to a sustainable future by uniting the power of "people" living in the present through our daily business activities.
